Who we are
We are a family-owned company that has been in the metallurgy business for 30 years. We specialize in the installation and maintenance of companies dedicated to the breeding and care of the equine world.
Throughout our history, we have studied the behavior of horses and their nutritional needs. Listening to the problems associated with an unbalanced diet, we conducted several tests and developed feeders that regulate the amount of food needed daily, permanently and without the need to follow schedules.
It is crucial to understand the difference between grass in its natural state, growing in the ground with all its properties, and grass that has been cut, stored and then placed in a trough. The latter requires the best care, as it is exposed to the risk of contamination.
Our feeders
FORRAJECO feeders are designed to keep the forage free of moisture (avoiding the formation of fungus) and to protect it from contact with soil or surfaces that may retain dust (which is harmful to the horse’s respiratory system).
We have achieved this by creating a mesh that suspends and compresses the feed, leaving spaces for a fair bite, allowing the horse to cut and pull with its teeth. In this way, we preserve the properties of the fodder and strengthen the teeth, preventing dental health problems.
FORRAJECO feeders are designed to meet the needs of both large and small companies, where feed supply, medicines and labor represent an ongoing expense throughout the year.
